Event Waiver

Whilst buoyancy vests are loaned out, participants are expected to be confident in the water (eg. can swim 25m unassisted).

Members are expected to abide by codes of conduct per the Club's Member Protection Policy. Please refer to the Club Rules and Policies on our website for further details.

Participants are expected to assist in de-rigging boats and putting them away at the end of the session. The coach or a volunteer can help with instructions.

Maylands Yacht Club is run by volunteers. Parents and support people are most welcome to stay and watch or lend a hand.

Refunds are not applicable after the first 2 weeks.
Attendance is expected every week, but we understand if sometimes other more pressing things arise. If you are missing too many sessions, talk to us about making up for it later on.
