How to Register 

Click the blue "Register" button at the top of the page 

Then:

For new sailors, select 

1) New to Australian Sailing, press Sign up 

2) At the bottom of the page, select New member 

3) Fill out details for Sailor 

4) Select Sail Pass Membership $0 (This will give you a free Temp pass for the entire course)

5) Select Mon, Tue, Wed of the course dates

6) Proceed to Next Step 

7) Fill in Sailor's details 

8) Fleet: select Other

9) Boat name: Tackers 

10) Select: Aus Tackers - Course Registration 

11) Note: Aus Tackers Certificate of $22.04 applies at checkout 

12) Continue to Checkout

Course Description

New to sailing? Tackers 1 is the perfect place to start!

Tackers 1 is a five-day school holiday introduction to sailing. No previous sailing experience or yacht club membership is required and parents don't need to know anything about sailing either.

With a maximum of eight sailors, children learn through games, challenges and plenty of practical time on the water. They'll begin learning how to steer and control their boat, work together and become more confident and independent on the water.

Boats and buoyancy vests are provided, so families don't need their own sailing equipment to get started.

To finish the week, families are invited to join us for a BBQ and presentation on Friday. It's a chance to celebrate what the sailors have achieved and learn about the opportunities available if they'd like to continue sailing.
