Thank you for registering for this course at Maylands Yacht Club – we are excited to have your sailor on the water with us
Schedule: 9 sessions, Sundays 9:00 am – 12 pm
Session Dates: 8, 15, 22 Feb, 8, 15, 22, 29 March, 12, 19th April
Your instructor will meet the group on the grass outside the club before each session, then head down to the boats together.
What to bring
To keep everyone safe, comfortable and sun-smart, students should bring:

UV-appropriate clothing (e.g. long-sleeve top and shorts or leggings)

Enclosed shoes that can get wet

Sunscreen applied before arrival, with extra in their bag

Course Overview
This course aims to provide children aged 7-12 with a fun, safe and affordable way to get into sailing.
This is a Tackers combined course (a combination of Tackers 1, 2, 3). The combined course enables individual progression accross its duration, whilst allowing friends to remain together.
Tackers will always be about fun, social engagement and safety.

- 7-12 years-old
Who should do this course?
This course is designed for participants who wish to have fun and learn the basics of sailing through games on and off the water.
Course Outcome
By the end of the Tackers combined course, the participants will achieve the standards of either Tackers 1, 2, or 3 and have had a lot of FUN!
