Schedule: 9 sessions starting 8 Feb 2026.  Forecast finish date is 19 April 2026 (allowing for 2 public holiday weekends)
Boat class: Mirror (Coach may decide if another boat class is appropriate)

Course Description:

This nine-week sailing course is designed for adults and children who want to learn to sail or further develop their sailing skills. It is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who want to refresh their basic training.

Sailing Mirror dinghies initially, participants will progress beyond the basics and, when ready, take on more advanced skills such as gybing, sailing a triangular course, and learning the rules of sailing. Buoyancy vests are provided, though sailors should be confident in the water.

Minimum Age: 10 years

Includes:

Use of Club boats, loan of bouyancy jackets, sunscreen.

Participants to supply their own hat, sun protection clothing (rashie, board shorts or wetsuit), drink bottle or snack.
